Benefits of the ESFF

Humanist Center

Envision a physical home for Washington’s freethinkers that features meeting space, a library, and resources that sustain a visible, mobilized community.

With assistance from founding organization Humanists of Washington, the Center will become the physical headquarters for statewide activity, with expansion and satellite offices on the horizon.

Utilize these Humanist Centers for your organization’s activities and events!

Speakers and Celebrants Bureau

Access our resource bank of local speakers as well as thoughtful and joyous individuals that assist us in non-religious, non-theistic life cycle celebrations and memorials.

Legal Defense Fund

ESFF’s future Legal Defense Fund will aid community organizations in defending the civil rights of atheists, humanists and freethinkers within the state. Working in concert with national legal defense funds, money set aside for this fund will help defend our rights to free speech and protect the constitutional principle of the separation of church and state.

Evergreen Freethought Press

This will be an online publication. The flagship publication for the State’s freethinking community for 30 years, the re-imagined Secular Humanist Press Online will feature articles, reviews, letters, and essays from local contributors as well as quarterly updates from our member or- ganizations. A statewide listing of events will showcase the variety and vigor of our communities’ interests and activities.
